My daughter has always been very competitive. She taught herself how to ride a two wheel bike when she was 2 and one-half years old. Not because anyone told her too, but because all the other kids in the neighborhood where riding them and she wanted to keep up. She developed a fondness of softball and basketball in elementary school and played every chance she got. In high school she made the varsity team in both sports as a freshman and lettered in both sports that same year. In her four years of high school, she started almost every game. She went on to play softball at the college level. Even now as an adult she plays on more teams than I can count.
It was her interest in sports that caused me to start Ladies Only Sports. No matter what sport my daughter was playing, whenever I went out to buy her the equipment she needed, it was never available. Most of the time we ended up with something made for boys that we thought would work for a girl. I knew the equipment was out there, but none of the big-box sporting good stores carried it. The women’s athletic and fitness market was simply not being looked after.
So with no more market research than that, a credit card, and a couple of books on what this thing called the Internet was all about, I set about to open an on-line store that focused only a women and that had a passion for customer service.
We have now been in business since the summer of 1999. We still have that same focus and that same passion. Its not just our motto, but the way we do business…. Nothing is more important to us than your complete satisfaction.
Our commitments to you:
1. We will offer only products that have been designed for women. We will never offer products designed for men that “will fit” a woman. We both know they usually don't.
2. We will provide you with the best service possible. Your order is the most important activity we will have to work on today.
3. We will never rip you off on shipping charges. Wherever possible, we will ship free of charge. When we have to charge for shipping, you will be charged a cost which has been set to approximate actual.

Shipping: We make every effort to ship your order by the next business day, using the US Postal Service or UPS/FedEx ground for US addresses and the most cost effective method for international addresses. All orders for delivery to continental US addresses will be shipped with FREE SHIPPING if the total order, excluding shipping charges, is over $64. See "Shipping Rates" for more details.
Sales Tax: Sales tax will be collected for deliveries in Colorado.
Return Policy: We want you to be very satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us within 21 days. We will be glad to exchange it for another size, another item, or issue you a refund, based on the following guidelines.
1. All returns and exchanges must be made within 21 days. Returns made after 21 days will be subject to a 10% handling fee and will be issued a store credit.
2. All items must be returned unworn (except to check the fit) and in original packaging. Items are coded with special tags – please return items with tags still attached.
3. All Returns and Exchanges are inspected by our Customer Service Department. We recommend that you try on all apparel immediately upon receipt. Please use care when trying on garments for fit. Body lotions/oils, perfumes, deodorant, make up, and jewelry can cause the garment to become soiled or damaged and will be subject to a 35% cleaning fee, or may be refused if returned for a refund or exchanged.
4. We recommend using either Priority Mail or UPS/FedEx.
5. Refunds will be issued for the price of the garment excluding shipping charges.
6. We make every effort to process returns and exchanges promptly. Exchanges are usually shipped and return credits are usually issued within 1 to 4 days after your package is received.
7. In case of exchange, the exchange will be sent first class mail at our expense unless you request otherwise, in which case shipping charges may be assessed.
NO returns or exchanges on opened DVD’s. In the case of a defective product, we will exchange for the same product.
NO returns or exchanges on Smarty Pants underwear or Pizzazz briefs unless defective, in which case we will exchange for the same product
Pom poms are subject to a 15% "re-stocking" fee if returned. NO returns or refunds on custom made poms.
Forms of Payment: Ladies Only Sports accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. We will also accept properly signed Purchase Orders from schools and other organizations. Your personal check will also be accepted. If you choose to pay by check and your check is not paid on presentment, you agree to pay a charge of $20, or any higher amount allowed by law, and we may electronically debit or draft your account for this charge. Also, if your check is returned for insufficient or uncollected funds, your check may be electronically re-presented for payment.
